Here at Black we love cats. A lot. So we simply had to post something about NZ's Next Top Cat Model - an online competition to find New Zealand's top cat. Run by a mysterious cat called Happy As Larry, the contest mirrors NZNTM in that coiffed superjudge Colin Mathura-Jeffree joins our top animal man Mark Vette, Robyn Kippenburger CEO of the SPCA, Sarah Lee and Happy as Larry on the judging panel. It will be interesting to see exactly what fluffy concoction Colin Mathura-Jeffree (who is referred to on the site as the "pussy whisperer" ha ha) wears himself for the judging process.There are loads of prizes on offer but the whole shebang is, of course, about raising money for cats and in particular the very good cause known as Lonely Miaow - a non-profit organisation dedicated to the rescue of stray and abondoned cats. The whole project is totally online-centric and entries, in the form of images, movies posted to You Tube etc are required before the July 31 deadline. So how does your moggy enter?
